Here's a very important post for your news groups,
lists and MUG Newsletter...
AACUG security advocacy group has detected a new internet
scam wherein perpetrator is fraudulently hijacking the
identity of "Citibank" to gain access to Citibank charge card
holders accounts.
(Within the past 12 hours: 6:46 am EST 12/27/2003/)

the text, I'm happy to email you the ascii text of this ALERT,
just reply privately to the address above.
If you are a regular InfoManager subscriber, you'll get the
ascii text in today's release. There are four other online
scams now under investigation which will be released shortly:
pertaining to eBay, PayPal and two more charge card scams.
We already have members who are victims of these scams --
which are very persuasive and professionally deployed to
breach security info. Don't think that because you are
computer and internet savvy, all your members are. So far
two of the victims are elderly members.
