THE USER GROUP REPORT: TERRY WHITE, THE MACWORLD/UGU PLANNING TEAM,
DECEMBER VENDOR DEALS AND A YEAR-END REVIEW
We review all of the user group events at Macworld Expo, cover the
involvement of Adobe in those events, talk to a User Group University
presenter, get the year's last set of vendor deals for MUGs, and look
back at user groups in 2003. Guests include Terry White and members of
the Macworld/User Group University Planning Team

USER GROUP LOUNGE AT MACWORLD EXPO WILL HOST A VARIETY OF SESSIONS AND GUESTS
The User Group Lounge at Macworld Expo will once again play host to an
all-star list of the most popular and most interesting guests and
sessions. The Lounge is open to all attendees and is a great place to
relax, meet friends, and attend sessions with Mac luminaries in an
informal, up close and personal setting.

VENDOR PANEL SESSION RETURNS TO USER GROUP UNIVERSITY
One of the many interesting and useful sessions scheduled for User Group
University is the return of the Vendor Panel Discussion. The vendor panel
gives representatives of UGU vendor sponsors and attendees an opportunity
to interact in a strucutred environment, educating each other about their
respective assets and opportunities for synergy.

MACBEGINNINGS CONFERENCE SESSION WILL INCLUDE MEMBERS OF ALL THREE APPLE
VOLUNTEER TEAMS
On Tuesday afternoon at Macworld Expo, the "Introduction to Macintosh
User Groups" will give show-goers the opportunity to learn all about MUGs
- why they are, what resources they offer, and why they are an important
resource for Mac users of all experience levels. The session will be
delivered by members of all three Apple User Group Volunteer Teams.
Hosted by Chuck Joiner, scheduled presenters include Sandy Foderick,
Sarah Friedlander, Chris Kiltz and Rick Ortiz.
