Greetings...
I'm looking for MUG members who have experienced the
"Black Screen" problem with the iBook. Since user groups
should be on the front line of this emerging problem,
Ask around your memberships to see if any of them have
been stricken with this iBook problem.
Did your screen suddenly go black?
Did it knock out the video card preventing external monitors?
Did it happen in the past 6 months?
Have you contacted Apple?
We're following up on member reports of the situation
for an alert article. More than a few are experiencing
the "Black Screen" death and caught in Apple's backlog
of repairs unable to get enough replacement screens.
One victim has now had it happen twice. Apple has
removed the discussion board topic about it from their
support site and quite a few are upset about it.
There was a fix posted to the forums, but Apple removed it.
Any help would be appreciated.
