One of our club members bought a nice projector for himself (he's kind of a
techie-gadgety sort of guy, though long-retired). He lets us use it each
month. About half a year go we were given the use of a lecture room in a
retirement center for club meetings, the very center where he lives. So
coming to meetings now is an elevator ride downstairs, projector bag hooked
to his wheelchair (and thankfully no bags hooked to HIM....) At meetings and
in his presence I have often said kiddingly about how appreciative we are
"...that Dan is going to leave us his projector in his will."
(Yes, you got it---it's a big HINT, HINT, HINT... He's probably figured that
out by now (:>)
I've really appreciated the responses to how various groups handle the demo
situation as to linking presenters with computers.
