Apple has indicated where its priorities are, and while they are always
eager to see top computer games release for the Mac, they are careful to
make sure they don't disrupt the balance of their work on apps that the
majority of Mac users use. The Mac can be a fine game machine, but that will
largely depend on Mac publishers, developers and whatever help Apple can
realistically provide to make it happen. You're going to see some awesome
games hit the Mac platform this year, so it's not all bad.
