Unfortunately this is becoming heated

Windows does the messenger thing:
1. it's good
2. Mac OS doesn't have it, please accept it
3. the "deamons" or "tasks" in Windows take up a fraction of the
processor time compared to the full app

You cannot justify Apple's ignoring the Mac games market because of the
consoles because some games are best played on computers (strategy) and
this is a very silly excuse for simply supporting Apple's actions. We
are all Mac users, passionate about our computers but I'm afraid we
must accept the shortcomings of our systems and this is what exactly
this debate is about.

I think I am justified in making the above statements. Others should
also respond to this thread
