Did you ever read the Foreword by Steve Wozniak in the Book BLACK ART
OF 3D GAME PROGRAMMING of Andre Lamothe?
Woz told us that the whole thing in the Apple II was good if he could
make that the Breakout looks good on that machine, because, the games
are the coolest stuff in computers, they push the technology forward.
I'm searching that foreword to share with you all...
"The Apple ][ was the exceptional machine. I managed to come up with
some amazing design tricks and reductions that made good sense, for
performance and few chips. I incorporated a lot of game features like
color and paddles and switches and graphics and hi-res and sound, but
after all I'd designed video games for fun. "
So.. was designed for what?
