Hi there
I have a car. Here in South Florida USA almost everybody has a car. The
problem is that they don't know how to drive.
Public transportation is reliable but very slow. I can drive from my home to
our meeting place in 20 -30 minutes, but public transport takes about an hour
and a half.
Often members do car-pool to the meetings.
Yes, we will help members in their homes. I ask people to call me first.
Often I can guide them this way. Also, there's Apple's Remote Access. If I guide
them by phone to set that up, I can remotely access their computer and try to
find the root of their problem.
Because of time and distance, I cannot always visit them.

This is a semi-serious question for user groups:

You know, that car you have could be put into real use.

For me I'd do (1) - last December a Dutch member had a problem (yes, expats

If you REALLY want to start saving the environment, it's better carpooling

Just my thoughts gone wild - and public... ;-)
