No, we don't have any, and we don't talk about it either. We are however,
an incorporated 501c non-profit group, and I hope that would protect the
officers. Not having deep pockets is probably a better defense, and we're
good at that. We have about 160 members, and we get about 60- 85 people
at a monthly meeting.
I recall that at the UG summit in LA last year that quite a number of the
groups were spending most of their total budgets on liability insurance.
The usual reason was that they couldn't rent the meeting room without it.
This whole insurance thing is threatening to eliminate many user groups.
