I think one of the main "advantages" which our members perceive is the right to participate in our club's Help Resource, which is just a fancy name for a private Mail List that we run using the Topica.com service. It allows anyone to post a question which will be received by any of our other club members who have also subscribed to the list, and in turn any responses are also received by all. Right now, the volume of such email is not enough to clog up anyone's mailbox but it does help people to get answers. In order to participate in this Mail List, one must be a member of our MUG.
