Amaya,

What seems to be happening here is the standard limitations of a contest. I do not know specifically what the restrictions are. Still the question I would ask is how an international or global contest can be created?

The key to answering this is going beyond this list and reaching out to the international groups to form a network of cooperation and resources. Think beyond your shores. Any country that is outside the contest list would be a customer for this effort.

After that, the next step is to find where Apple has an international branch close to ant of the members. Then develop a strong relationship with them. Through the shear numbers of your members creates a voice that strengthens the international market presence - and may garner Apple's attention.

Hi John,
I can't denied this company is great, you answered my question in less than 24 hrs.

Even if we know there is many factors that could determine witch countries apply to participate, it is certainly true that maybe LA countries or at least most of them, will never enter. And this is hard to "accept" because we want to be part of this community with the same opportunities, or at least pretty much same opportunities.

What I disagree in this specific case is that "you" (Apple) are asking for a piece of software and in return you will give away a computer, can't you select a Authorized Dealer/Vendor to deliver the price?, I will not except Steve Jobs coming to Venezuela (my case) to deliver it, since we do not have an Apple Store. But....

What I'm trying to express is that Apple should work better on their "International Image", look at the joke of that contest on the web site, Now "even Quebec" could enter to the contest, when Quebec is part of Canada, and you are from there.
