events," reports MaMUGs Vice-President, Randy Decker, "we waited to
make this very exciting announcement so that every MaMUGs leader could
have the opportunity to participate in both this and any other event of
this kind." Decker went on to share the excitement of the community,
"our members continue to talk about the pride in their growing user
groups as Apple's technologies expand. User groups are stronger than
ever and this group exemplifies all of the finest things about being
part of such an organization."
About Maryland Apple Corps:
The Maryland Apple Corps was formed almost concurrently with the
release of the Apple II computer in 1978 when a small and informal
group of interested people got together in order to share their
interest in Apple computers and their products. The Maryland Apple
Corps serves the greater Baltimore area. Arno Drucker, President of
MDapple acknowledges the efforts of his group and working with MaMUGs,
stating, "We have worked together to plan this event for nearly a year
and we are quite proud of how well everyone continues to support us,
thus making MD25MD a one-of-a-kind opportunity for all user groups in
the region as well as ourselves."
