ShareTheMac.org, who say that they are "run by the ShareTheMac Users
Group"
http://www.sharethemac.org/STMCD.shtml
Is offering the "Mac OS CD"
They say:
"Mac OS CD is a CD-ROM full of the latest apple software and system
updates available for public download. (We have signed an agreement with
Apple that allows us to give Apple software to ShareTheMac UsersGroup
members).
Mac OS CD costs US$11"
I received a spam e-mail offering me this CD-ROM even though I am not a
ShareTheMac member.
QUESTION: Why is this user group permitted by Apple to offer Apple
software updates while every other user group is not?
