We've had a nice response from our local Apple Stores. They have sent
speakers to our monthly meetings. We encourage our group to attend
their demos and classes and have gotten really good feedback. We
bought a gift certificate from the Apple Store as a special Holiday
door prize. We appreciate the Genius Bar, Airport access, and it's a
great place for honest repairs. Best of all, they download software
updates and burn them to CD's for people who can't handle those long
downloads.
Our only problem is that someone from a different MUG was so pushy with
them when they first opened, that they are wary of MUG's now. So,
don't overdo it.
