Hi Art,
My comments come from an obviously biased perspective, but here goes:

Is it really worthwhile for those User Groups that are on a budget but need

better organization and information?
Yes! We've heard, on a consistent basis, that leaders who attend return
with information that is valuable to the group from many different
aspects. As with any such conference, picking which sessions to attend
and how they apply to your particular situation can make a big difference.
About the best indicator we can offer is that we have a good, solid
repeat-attendance, so there is a high percentage of folks that feel it is
a good value.

This year there will be a CD with materials provided by both speakers and
vendors, along with some other resources that should be good for at least
one, perhaps more, meetings if used properly.

Any positive stories or success stories of a User Group University related

Will leave that one to past UGU attendees here on the list.

Again, a biased, enthusiastic "yes!"
:)
