Speaking of Holiday Giving, don't forget your local Firefighters. Our
MUG contacts the Spark of Love Toy Drive through our local Fire
Station. We have a toy donation box in our Learning Center for the
entire month of December and collect toys at our December meeting. You
may be able to arrange a toy donation box at a store in your area. You
can advertise your MUG next to the official poster you'll receive from
Spark of Love. Of course, you may choose Toys for Tots, food drives,
or another equally worthy organization. Also, don't forget the
Firefighters themselves when you're making those cookies. Drop off a
dozen at your local station. Please. No fruit cake. We like these
people.
