I was one of the lucky few that payed near $4000 for my IIci system a
week before Apple halved the price. Had i rejected Apple for that, I
would now be stuck using a PC with an inferior over-bloated and
overpriced OS., I decided, instead not to jump on a new model as soon
as it came out, but wait for the price adjustments and hardware fixes.

Well see that is what I am trying to tell these people at Apple
Support Discussions.. but these people.. sorry if i say so but they
are just... well.. crazy.. never buy Apple again because a new model
came out and you were a bit unlucky to get one before... that doesn't
make sense to me. I am fine here, and exactly what you said.. I was
happy yesterday... and a better deal should not change that. I thought
about it... and I love my G5.
