Yeah, that was my response too.
Students and faculty, of course , get an educational discount. Is it
possible that the announcement which Mr.Richards heard was from a
Campus MUG, announcing the educational pricing to its members?
The message I got was third hand, and I don't know any specific MUG
that was being referred to. The message that was quoted to me said the
individual had to opportunity to upgrade to Panther for $64.50 "Thru a
nearby MUG." I wondered about the possibility of an educational
connection too.
