Most machines read multisession discs. I am reluctant to say this, but
Windows seems to have a better inbuilt CD Burning system which
automatically burns multi-session CDs. In addition, for those people
who have tried burning multi-session CDs with other software like
Toast, would want to to note that only the last written Volume appears
in Windows. The rest of the volumes only mount on the Mac. This system
of writing a new volume every time is not very effective.

The story I heard was that multi-session CDs are not readable in a lot
of machines are not compliant with the CD standard.
Like most things Mac, easy and basic is included.
