Most machines read multisession discs.
Tell that to a decade of legacy.
I am reluctant to say this, but Windows seems to have a better inbuilt
CD Burning system which automatically burns multi-session CDs.
It's "better" in that it burns multi-session CDs and if that is your
only criterion.
In addition, for those people who have tried burning multi-session CDs
with other software like Toast, would want to to note that only the
last written Volume appears in Windows. The rest of the volumes only
mount on the Mac. This system of writing a new volume every time is
not very effective.
But then, for the most part, EeZeeCDCreator on Windows, which seems to
be the default software on most PCs I've seen, doesn't make "standard"
multisession disks and we had trouble getting them to be read on other
PCs never mind Macs.
It's my opinion that multisession should be avoided. When it's 12p for
a 650 MB CD in a local supermarket then why are we worrying about
saving those tiny little pennies by burning in a format which could
later be unsupported.
