Gary, for frequent shots, it's well worth investing in Snapz Pro by
Ambrosia. <
http://www.ambrosiasw.com>
It lets you choose what type of shot you want and how you'd like to capture
it - meaning window, area, etc. And you can switch between types of shots.
It's the tool of every Mac-topic book author I know.
JPGS lose quality with every save so they are not a good capture format if
you're editing them.
