Follow up on iSight Demo at MUG Meeting

Hi All:
Thanks to Daniel East and others who were so kind to offer comments and
suggestions on my recent question about running an iSight demo at our
club meeting this week.
The GOOD news is that we found a club member who has all the required
resources which he can take to the meeting to allow a connection
there. G4 computer, iSight hardware, iChat AV software, and his own
dot-Mac account. We also got news from Daniel about Router ports which
need to be opened in order to iChat AV to work and, after doing so at
both our homes, we conducted our first iSight session tonight. So the
final step will be to get this thing to work in the Church environment.
We have dashed off email tonight to our contact there asking if we can
have permission to adjust THEIR Router accordingly, and come in for a
rehearsal session before the actual meeting.
I will try to remember to let everyone know how it turns out.
