LEISURE WORLD MACINTOSH USER GROUP TAKES TO THE AIRWAVES
The Leisure World Macintosh User Group has earned a reputation for using
iMovies to promote their group. Louise Dawson of LWMUG recently was
interviewed for a local cable television show, and has posted an iMovie
to show everyone how it is done ( click on the "eZedia Interview" link on
the group's front page). In a posting to the Apple User Group Discussion
List , she also recently encouraged other MUGs to seek exposure from
their local cable companies . Nice job, Louise!

MUG WEB SITES GET NEW LOOK
Three different Macintosh User Group web sites recently announced
redesigns and makeovers:
- The MacUsers User Group of Georgia has updated their web site based on
member feedback and requests .
- AUSOM ,Australia's largest Macintosh User Group, has given their site
a clean, simple look that is easy to navigate and locate information
about the group.
- The Mid-Atlantic MUG Team site has had a facelift, a reorganization of
the front page and adopted a partial brushed-metal appearance.
Macintosh User Group web sites are both a reflection of the group's
personality and a vital information source for people interesting in
learning more about the group. Vendors, potential members, and more all
draw their first impression of your organization from what they see on
the web. Take a look at our Macintosh User Group Web Site Tips , paying
special attention to the section about having your logo in compliance
with Apple's guidelines , and then turn a critical eye to your site to
see if it delivers the message your group wants to send.
