Wow! So many great posts! I wish I could reply to each one!

I'm having trouble changing the format of my ScreenShot w/ Command-Shift-3
I kind of cringed when I saw that post, 'cause this isn't a tech support
list, but I was pleasantly surprised by the replies you got... To add my two
cents, start w/ the Control key (then Command, etc.) and your screenshot goes
to your clipboard so you can immediately paste it into whatever graphic app
you want and then save it in whatever format you want, skipping the steps of
creating a PDF you don't want, opening it, copying or exporting it, etc...

MaMUGs unveils new web site
Belated congrats to all of you...! Being the webmaster for my own group, I
know what a labor of love it can be... If any of you have seen a reality
make-over show, you know people can't appreciate the 'after' if they don't
know what the 'before' looked like, so maybe a link to a page w/ them side by
side or in a simple roll-over effect... For QMUG/LA, we archive our main
pages, going back six years now, so you can see the gradual, subtle tweaks...

WOO-HOO, YIPPEE AI-YAY! I totally thank you Jeff and Chuck and whomever
else is responsible...! I was really upset when this option disappeared, so I
*have* to send out big hugs and kisses to you now that it's back... This is
really important to people who have MUGs near them, even if they're in another
state, especially on the east coast like near DC or in really big areas like
us in the L.A. area... 10Q, 10Q, 10Q...!

our Ambassador couldn't figure out where the password for the MUG store was
One word: Archives... As was mentioned, the vendor offers are e-mailed out
in the Apple User Group Bulletin, and these are archived online for access at
any time... Subscribing is a good idea for new offers, but of no help for
current ones that have already been sent out... Please bookmark the following
links and note that the login and password are both "archives"... You can
also search for whatever offer you need...

I have yet to receive any response [from my regional liaisons]
Let me first acknowledge that like all of us, Regional Liaisons are
volunteers whose positions are often thankless... Having said that, I'm
afraid I'm w/ you Janice... I know my RL is in my address book as I've BCC'd
him at least once to let him know what's going on w/ us, but I don't think our
group is in his address book or distribution list as I have yet to hear
anything back, formally or informally...
When the call was made for nominations in Mar '03, I sent in names of no
fewer than five leaders from five different L.A. area MUGs, so I know from our
area there was interest, a desire to be, some competition to be, the Regional
Liaison... The new team was announced in May '03, and it's now Sep '03, and I
have yet to hear "Hi, I'm your new Regional Liaison" or "Thanks for writing,"
etc... I'm happy to thank people, but I have to know for what...

I just renewed my .mac acct ($105 w/ sales tax and no kiss from Steve)
Wow! I didn't see that option... How much would it have been w/ the kiss?!
<hehehe>
