Below is a message from our RL for the SouthEast US. I think it is somewhat
important to bring to a close the issue of late about communications.
Please remember that the Regional Liaisons and the Apple User Group Advisory
Board
members are volunteersbthey don't get paid for all of the good deeds they
try
to accomplish. And, emails, contrary to popular opinion, DO get lost! I
was thanking Gary for forwarding info from Apple to all of our regional MUG's.
He asked me to send his reply to a specific email to the AUGD list.B

Hi Del-
Funny thing happened. With your email was another from another MUG asking me
to stop the spam.
I wrote them, "I try to walk a thin line. On the one hand are groups saying
that no one is offering any help/discounts/information/benefits/etc. from
Apple. On the other hand are those acknowledging that there is an
overabundance of
emails from RL's. I do my best to balance these two."
Interesting, huh?
