To address your concerns - I wouldn't deem the three words 'Special
Interest Group' as "professional terminology." If anything, they're
descriptive. If you want to deal with some real jargon, talk to a
nurse.
I really think that if someone wants to learn a piece of software or
even just use a computer, I think that they can handle those basic
three words. If they can't, you're going to have a very interesting
"class." :-)
BTW, keep warm up there in Chicago. I know how cold it is down here in
NJ. :-)
