I'm wondering...who presents program topics in your group? The same person

At TCMUG we have been using the same three people to present (happens to be
our Executives of the group) for 95% of our presentations. We have had a
select few done by different members.

If it is the same person each month, does that person pick the topic?
Once again the three of us do the planning for each upcoming meeting.

How are your topics chosen?
We typically will ask our membership what they would like to see at the
monthly meetings. We do that when they join, offer a web site form to fill
out and periodically ask at our monthly meetings for topics. Our Executives
also play a major part in selecting topics for what may be hot at the
moment.
We find that selecting and planning for the monthly presentation is a
challenge to make sure we are putting on something that the majority of the
membership will attend and enjoy. We find that it is difficult to present
the latest and greatest for Jaguar & Panther when half of the membership is
still in OS 9 and earlier.
