Empty Ink Jet Cartridges for Fundraiser?

Several User Groups have reported success in recycling empty Ink Jet
cartridges as a fundraiser. A year or so ago we tried it, sent the
cartridges and never received any response or cash (the person who was in
charge, is unavailable for follow up as to what happened and why).
Anyway, one of our members has over 100 carts that he is ready to dump but
we let the program go by the wayside after our first unsuccessful attempt.
Does anyone have any information on a reputable company that is taking Used
InkJet Carts for cash for User Group fundraising?
