You forgot one reason why those rooms overflowed. The structure of the User
Group Forum required participating in chats in order to get the free
ambassador
account. For many folk their way of "paying" for aol was participating in the
chats.

There was a staff 21 people at the UGF who were working hard to keep things
going. Yourself included. Some of those people, like John Barns, put in a
tremendous number of hours. I was sad when everything went down the tubes. We all
thought we would be there for ever.
