MUG DISCOUNT FOR MACWORLD CONFERENCE & EXPO SAN FRANCISCO 2005
Macworld Conference & Expo has once again extended special user group

USER GROUP SURVEY: MEETING PUBLICITY RESULTS AND GROUP SIZE POLL
Last week's MUG Center Survey question gathered information on how user
groups publicize their meetings. It wasn't surprising that the
overwhelming majority use their web sites and private email lists as
promotional tools, but newsletters fell a distant third, and The MUG
Event Calendar came in fourth. Complete results are on the Meeting
Publicity page in our Survey section. Since starting the Survey, we've
received emails with many suggestions that will be included in future
questions. This week, we drop back to a very basic question as proposed
by a MUG leader: How large is your user group?

Mac users on the benefits InDesign CS, and how to migrate from
QuarkXpress. These seminars are perfect for user group members and
leaders, not only from an education standpoint, but also as a training
session for one or more meeting presentations. Attendees can also win
software, printers and training DVDs.

Filemaker Pro has a long reputation for being marrying the power of

Filemaker Pro 7, adds more features than ever. Several user groups are
getting a comprehensive introduction to the new options from Jonathan
Stars, author of "Learn FileMaker Pro 7." Jonathan will be taking his
presentation on the #1 database application for the Mac to three user
groups this month.
