This is very exciting. I just spoke with Allen Kalka, President of the Mount
Dora MUG in Florida and they are having someone from Apple come to show off
the new G5 at their meeting.
I know there must be other FL folks on this list who will want to go to
their meeting. How fun is this? I know we don't have them here in my area
just yet-Lorene

Apple and the New iMac G5 are Coming to Mount Dora and You are Invited.
The Mount Dora Macintosh Users Group (MDMUG) is pleased to announce
that Mr. John Allen, from Apple Computers, will be the Guest Speaker at
their October 12, 2004 monthly meeting. There will be a general
question-and-answer session at 6PM and then the Apple presentation will
start at 6:30PM.
The meeting will be taking place at Dickens-Reed Books & Bistro, 145
East Fourth Ave. (corner of Fourth Ave. and Baker St.), in downtown
Mount Dora. (Directions to Dickens-Reed and a printable downtown map
are available at http://www.mdmug.com/meetings and Dickens-Reed can be
contacted at 352-735-5950).
This meeting is free and open to the general public. You do not need a
membership nor a Macintosh computer to attend. There is plenty of
public parking (including disabled) available. You are welcome to come
arrive early. MDMUG has arranged with several local restaurants for
dinner specials for attendees who register in advance.

There will be door prizes and a raffle for a copy of Macintosh OS X
10.3 "Panther".
