Let's be _really_ careful here, folks.
We haven't seen much malware yet, but it's not because it's not possible.
There are holes. Apple's done a really good job of closing them as
they're found (though not as quickly as we would like, nor with as
much tech info either...) and, more importantly, reducing the
likelihood that those holes can be exploited, by shipping stuff,
mostly, in a default secure state. (Services OFF, for example. And if
you turn it on, it's your responsibility to secure it.)
The latter is, IMO, the most important: We would not be losing so
much time and money to MS Windows -borne malware, if that OS (and
their apps) didn't ship in a default state that begs to be exploited
and abused.
Yes, Apple is doing a better job, but let's not get over-confident or
complacent.
