I just recently this from Apple:
---------------------------------
Currently, ambassadors have to have 2000 points and successfully pass
the most-recent .mac quiz to renew. During busy times it can take a
week or two to get a code once has passed the exam, so it is a good
idea to do things a bit ahead of the due date. BTW: you can always
check with your group's Regional Liaison if questions come up - they
are a great resource.

2000 points? that's what, perfect scores for 4 classes on line.
realistically 5 classes? Seems awfully steep.
Could the user group advisory board look into this and see if Apple can
reduce the requirements to just taking the dot-mac quiz?
Thank you,
Allan Marcus

Hello,
I was wondering how one renews the free .mac account. I received an
e-mail from Apple saying to renew I had to have 2000 Apple Sales Web
points. On a web page, it states one only need to take the .Mac
QuickStart course again. The Web page is buried pretty deep, and I'm
not sure it's active anymore and I'm not even sure I can find it! Any
ideas or direction?
Thanks,
