Dear AUGD List people,
To prove that Beijing's Mac community isn't dead (yet)... despite our
inexcusable hiatus on AUGD...
1. BeiMac has started a Mac wiki. It hardly looks like BeiMac's work
(e.g. there's not a BeiMac icon anywhere), but our group was a major
initiator in the wiki and we promote it like it was our baby. ;-) ->

2. BeiMac's meetings (so far with summaries only in Chinese, my fault,
I know) have seen a turnout explosion. 25 for March, 29 for April, and
31 (and overloaded) for May 2005. June is turning out to be a bit more
silent, and we're moving over to a new venue in August or September.
3. BeiMac's membership has exploded. We're over 2,500 strong (online
and official memberships included).
4. The user group is hosting Playlist Beijing in August 2005. ->

5. BeiMac was recently featured (OK, in April 2005, if that's recent
enough for you) in Beijing's Radio 774 AM (in English, of course).
A quick click on http://www.beimac.com/ every now and then will remind
you of how our faraway Beijing group is doing.
Y'all coming in 2008, right? ;-)
Greetings
David Feng
President
Beijing Macintosh User Group
