I have tried VTC in the past for other training. I am sure that this DVD
would be excellent but would probably cost nearly $100. We have purchased
Tackyshirt's early OSX DVD and it was also excellent. It seams to me that Tackyshirt's
product would be better for a new Mac person because it is more informal.
If you go to VTC's web site, <google.com/mac> on VTC, you can view a number
of lessons for free before buying the CD. That surly be the way to go IMHO.
Also consider Robin Williams' (writer not actor) book "The Little Mac Book"
from Peachpit Press. She has a OSX version. She is excellent and looks at
things from a teacher prospective rather than a know it all prospective. Easy to
read and understand. It is very reasonably priced. Peachpit Press also gives a
User Group discount.
