we USED to get together because the dang things were EXPENSIVE and
INFORMATION about how to keep it all running, or we had a need for
SHARED experiences - because there weren't a lot of other people [per
capita] who had one...
we USED to celebrate when a developer of a software package would
GRACE us with their presence and on occasion BLESS us with a free
copy to auction or give away at one of our meetings
we USED to....
Now we have to fight off 'whining' people who:
DEMAND free help /tech support from Apple
DEMAND free software at EVERY MEEETING "just because they are a
member of a MUG"
DEMAND, DEMAND, DEMAND....
sheeeeeeeeesh....!
let's go back to the simple ways - and have "old-fashioned" User
groups again....
