Hi John,
Thank you for your gracious reply. :-) And, LOL, I adore your "I think we all love a good "underdog" story." (no pun intended)
And here is hoping that someway, somehow, Greg's concerns are heard and addressed.
For what ever reason, I have gained the impression, over the years, that for some reason, that in our User Groups we have supportive-of-Apple folks whose voices really would like to be heard and who believe their comments could be/ would be helpful to the higher ups, but who time and time again are treated like voices in the wilderness when they see and want to report certain behaviors that if altered, could result in better business practices and financial gain for the company that we have adored and supported over all these years.
And, I hope that someone of the many, that you point out are in Steve's office, monitor and read Greg's and our comments on what is one of the Lists at Apple.com and take a good look at the situation that Greg is attempting to bring to their attention. It seems that we are talking about a big chunk of money. Heads Up, Boys and Girls!
Sigh, perhaps I should begin writing a few articles for publication about what it takes to make an organization flourish in even-greater depth. I know, because as a leader in my employment life, I did it! :-)
G'Day to you and all.
With Care, Emilie
