With the Tahnksgiving holiday in the United States this week, many
groups have rescheduld their regular meetings. Even so, there some
notable topics and events scheduled. Apple's Dave Marra will deliver an
Apple product overview in New Jersey, digital photography will be the
featured in New Jersey, and Google Earth, digital scrapbooking and safe
internet browsing will be show will be shown in California. Outisde the
U.S., there will be elections and a presentation of YouTube in Canada,
freeware, shareware and Eye-TV in Australia and Mac efficiency in Japan.

3 - Three MacNotables Will Headline User Group University

The eighth User Group University is scheduled for January 8 in San
Francisco in conjunction with Macworld Conference and Expo, and like
last year, will include a "dream team" session with three MacNotables
panelists, Christopher Breen, Senior Editor at Macworld magazine, Adam
Engst of TidBITS and Take Control, and Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus, wordsmith,
raconteur, and columnist for the Houston Chronicle and The Mac Observer.
As with last year's UGU, the team will take questions from the audie-nce
and give their unique perspectives on where user groups are going. Also
scheduled to appear is Terry White of MacGroup Detroit. Terry will
provide his insights on moving user groups into the 21st century. (more)
4 - User Group University Will Feature a Steve Wozniak Keynote

The November edition of the Apple User Group Bulletin has announced that
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will be the keynote speaker for the
eighth User Group University in January. (more)
5 - iMUG Museum Project Goes on Exhibit in December

Almost a year ago we told you about the iMUG Museum Project, a
partnership between the Internet Macintosh Users Group (iMUG) of
Melbourne and Museum Victoria to develop a collection of Apple items
that document the history of the company. Now, that project is
approaching its culmination. On December 2, Museum Victoria will open an
exhibition showing how the Apple computer has changed the way people
accomplish tasks both at work and at play... (more)
6 - Dave Marra of Apple Announces New User Group Presentation Dates

dates added to his ongoing schedule of Mac User Group Appearances. Dave
