I am deployed in Afghanistan and my iG4 keeps freezing on me the last few months. I have 7 GB of memory left--is this the problem? I have down loaded Bounce Back software recently, but now have taken it off thinking this could be the problem. I have emptied my trash a number of times with large files--trying to clear up my memory is this the problem. Please help me trouble shoot. Thanks

Hi Daniel,
Usually it is not a good idea to post for personal computer help on a User Group Discussion board, there are other live forums that could probably give you more immediate live help. Two that I frequent and contribute to are:

Plus other forums like Apple Support Board, MacFixit, etc...
but with that being said, when you say you have 7GB of Memory, I assume you mean Disk Space. Always give us as much info as you can about your Mac and what is installed (Type of Mac, Processor Speed, Memory Installed, Hard Drive Size, and which OS you are running,10.2.x, 10.3.x. 10.4.8 is the latest).
Mac OS X likes at least 10% of the Hard Drive space free and available to work correctly. If your Hard drive is almost full you may run into problems.
Have you tried Repairing Permissions and using Disk Utility to repair your Drive?
Give us more info about your system and the Freeze (or post in the forums mention above) and I’m sure we can get U some help.
