Another option (which I don't know if has been mentioned yet) is buying a Lacie external CD writer with Lightscribe support.

You have to buy Lightscribe CDs, but it allows you to flip them over and actually burn a label in to the top of the actual CD.

The problems I can see however are having to buy Lightscribe CDs, and the fact that so far I have only seen DVD+Rs with Lightscribe compatibility (which can't be read very well on older Macs).

Otherwise, it's an option for some that makes a unique user group experience.
