I received this from one of my locals. Have you any insight to a solution?

i am seeking advice.
i have a new macbook 13"black.
it freezes.
i have seen an ifinite # of clients who have and are experiencing this
problem,in customer forums.
some have said they had their fujitsuÝ hard drive replaced.
apple wants me to join applecare to troubleshoot.
cust. service said they don't monitor customer forums.
i want some one to tell me this a known issue and repair it.
any advice from a pro?
While I'm sure there are some real 'pro's' in
this group, it sounds like this gentleman has
already become familiar with the fact that these
new machines are having problems. Forums are
great for confirming your suspicions and
sometimes offer simple fixes. However, in this
case, I think it should be handled by 'local'
people at the Apple Store. Dealing with somewhat
less than perfectly defined problems via email is
quite slow and very difficult. Since the machine
is obviously still under warranty, take it back
to the dealer.
But I also agree that that AppleCare is a wise
investment on any laptop. It has more than paid
for the four ( and counting ) keyboard
replacements on my wife's iBook! ;-)
