Hello, all.

My name is Thomas Avallone with the Shreveport Macintosh User Group ("SMUG")
in North Louisiana. I believe this list is a useful tool, but like any tool,
its usefulness is directly related to how effectively it is wielded by the
user or, in this case, users.

The mechanism is in place for meaningful exchanges of questions, ideas, and
opinions as to how to improve our respective MUGs and ensure their continued
relevance in the modern world of computing. It is simply not being utilized
as fully as it could be. For that, we are all to blame.

I am confident that we all have learned lessons, tips, and tricks in the
leadership of our groups that would benefit one another.

Any ideas out there as to how we could all benefit more fully from this
list? If so, share them with the rest of us and get the discussion going.

Thomas
