'allo,

My name is Frank Petrie. Some of you I now personally and some electronically. Or you may remember a lil' dance craze I created called the twist.

I have to say that I come down on the side of those who are annoyed with the OT stuff. If it started as OT, then evolved into something that we all could take back to our groups, then I would become involved and not just lurk.

MUGs are withering because we have not kept up with Apple. Users of the current generation want to know about working and creating amazing pieces for YouTube with iMovie.

In many ways, this list reads like one of a million board meetings. Bickering with no solutions. Folks we have to learn to grow and find our niche. The days of teaching how to do simple e-mail attachments are long gone. Power using and networking are in the current generations gnome, and we must honor that.

Maybe it's time for some of us to get off of our soapboxes and take a breather. Give new ideas (some radical) serious consideration.

I hope that we can move forward from here,

Frank Petrie
