I'm on the board of directors for MacCORE, Kansas City's Macintosh User Group. www.maccore.org We have around 160 members; about 35-60 attend any given monthly meeting.

There are some useful topics on this list - topics dealing with running a User Group. I agree that a forum is a better format nowadays.
