Give your MUG a SHOUT OUT!! (respond to: Roll Call - Stand Up for
Users' Group)
Some of you have heard from me, many more of you have not, and even my
lengthy, convoluted, garrulous updates to my regional groups has
diminished in the past month's due to the life calls beyond the realm of
my MUG world. But even if it takes me some time, I do eventually get
back into the melee...
My name is Macbeth, and I simply go by that...currently I serve as VP of
NCMUG of Ohio based in the Berea/Cleveland area and have held a
leadership position since first joining a decade ago. My hands have
been helpful, my voice has been reasonable, and my words have found
cause, and with one exception controversial enough to have been banned
;-) ...yet my passion for the betterment of my group has always been at
the forefront.
May I extend my wish for all that so shall it be for yours and that you
find within this list even the smallest measure of information valuable
to enable greater visions for your group. (for example, did anyone give
thought when the question was posted "about hardware" to researching
into "dictionary apps" that could prove usable as a great
demonstration/presentation for your group at a monthly meeting?? If
someone doesn't ask, then how can we teach and tell others what we find
of value?)
The positives and negatives of this list often cancel each other
out...but always there's some measure of value that is worth learning!
FWIW..."In real life melee, not all forms of it are "disorganized". This
is a broad description used loosely, where in fact melee combat can be
extremely organized and effective."wikipedia
My 2¢ to the positive...with warmest regards from o_HI_o.
