Firstly, boy did I get worried with the openign para - then I remembered
that I'm not the only Anthony on the planet ;-)
Next, the confusion stems from Apple Australia's site having different info
to what's on Apple's US site.
To be honest, I'm happy with the response I got from the Apple Centre I've
chosen to deal with; give them the PowerBook and battery's serial numbers
and they'll call me when the replacement is ready.
I still reckon the real problem is that there aren't enough batteries in
stock.
BTW - I agree with Greg - the local postal service in Australia is great.
Next day between most capitals for letters (at a mere $0.50) and an express
service that costs a little more but gets you next day delivery for just
about anything to almost any postcode.
