You can also get to the same assistant via the Keychain Access utility Just click on the + to create a new password and then the key symbol

When the window drops down to change the password appears, click the little lock icon.
A Password Assistant drops down. Choose the type of password you want and look at suggestion or type in your own. The quality bar changes color to show you how secure the password is that you want.
Copy the secure password you like from that box and use it on your Airport.
Click cancel so you don't change your Mac's password!
It's all built into your Mac! (grin)
