Hi Jen

I used HFS+ (Extended) with Journaling, created Apple Partition Map. Connected using Firewire daisy chained through LaCie burner.

I used SuperDuper to create bootable clone.

Have you tried booting for the WD?

did you reformat the drive? You have to reformat to 'Mac Journalling'. (I have that exact one , also from costco)
