Title: Re: AUGD: Apple User Group iLife '09, iWork '09
Why, thank the gods someone else has had this occur, repeatedly. I had thought I was either nuts or had really messed up Keychains or something. Although I’m no longer our group’s Ambassador, and therefore don’t access ASW, the same used to happen to me very frequently. Similarly with a few other Apple sites requiring same user name and/or password. As it hasn’t happened with the few I continue to access, I had thought the problem solved, but apparently not.
When Apple would REQUIRE a password change, I’d nearly always get a continuous, closed loop of the same request for new password, over and over, frequently not to be resolved until a call to Apple support.
For anyone else running into this problem, Bill’s ALL CAPS below don’t emphasize it nearly enough. Anyone at Apple listening?

I've found Apple Sales Web to be a MOST FRUSTRATING website. I think every time I get on it, I have to change my password. So, I click the "Forgot my password" link, and it sends me a link to renew it. I do that, and it changes my dotmac password, so my email is messed up, and all my dotmac stuff is messed up, and ASW is STILL messed up, because that is a different ID than my Dotmac, but since they both use this email address, they always get it confused!
