I hate to rain on the parade of ambassadors, but I've been a user group pres for many years, have signed up, signed in, and signed on. Tested, passed, did whatever hoops the user group program has requested, and have NEVER received the user group .mac/mobileme account. We gave up, bought an account ... then the groups feature went away. So while I'm an advocate for the mobile me service for my personal use ... I've found that an account for a user group is not important.
Other than that ... we are all Mac Users for Life!

When they asked the Regional Liaison, the reply was a similar list of links to the AUG website.
The MUG just needs to know whether or not a registered user group can obtain a free Mobile Me account for the group's use. If yes, then they can nag their Apple Ambassador until he ferrets out the info on how to get it. They just don't want to send him on a wild goose chase :) |
